Melissa Valencia is a UX/UI designer who creates meaningful digital experiences through empathy, strategy, and user-centered design. Melissa believes that the most impactful designs combine both the user’s needs and business goals.

Melissa has worked in veterinary medicine and e-commerce, where she gained experience in dynamic work environments, cross-functional communication, and website management. While watching companies grow and develop through her experience building and managing websites, she discovered a passion for UX/UI design that she began to pursue through continued education and hands-on design work.

Melissa furthered her design skill set with a UX/UI Design certification program from Springboard. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from California State University, Chico.

When she is not developing wireframes, Melissa can be found reading, spending time with family, or exploring new restaurants, drawing inspiration from everyday life experiences and connections.
